ElectroCelt Biography

ElectroCelt is Dublin-born Electronic Music Artist Geoff Keogh. "Digital Fields", his debut album of 2008, was followed by "Realworld of ElectroCelt" in 2009. ElectroCelt's Music has a unique following, ElectroCelt the Man a unique background story. A long-time fan of electronic music bands such as Tangerine Dream, Mike Oldfield, Jean- Micheal Jarre, just to name a few, ElectroCelt had dreams of creating his own sound. A chance encounter with a Music Producer, Sean Mcloud, in his Taxi in Dublin in 2007, led ElectroCelt to pursue a course in Sound Engineering, which in turn led to "Digital Fields".

ElectroCelt's unique style of Music has gone from strength to strength, with additonal input from other musicians such as AlyZen Moonshadow, Tim Pullen, Stephan Whitlan, David Fox, Tara Woolridge, Fon Woolridge, Gemini II Progjet etc. In October 2009, at the Dublin Electronic Arts Festival (DEAF) ElectroCelt debuted at Dublin's Sugar Club, frontlining Ulrich Schnauss in a sold-out event. A second gig followed in June 2010, also at the Sugar Club.

ElectroCelt emigrated from Ireland to Australia in 2010 with his wife AlyZen Moonshadow, and has been operating out of Perth, Western Australia since August 2010.

ElectroCelt has the unique distinction of being the first to feature iPhoneography in a YouTube video. YouTube Videos of "Massive Attack Stole Our Beer", "10.000 Miles", "Massive Attack Stole Our Beer!", "Sonic Eye Vision" and "The Gathering" have been released, using ElectroCelt's original music and the iPhone Art of AlyZen Moonshadow.
